Class Description:
Building a Creative Life is a multi-week, multi-disciplinary course about developing your creative process into something that is consistent and fulfilling. Unlike technical courses, this course is designed to look at the emotional aspects of creation and the roadblocks many of us encounter in ourselves and our environments in seeking to build our creative practices. Perfect for aspiring hobbyists and active working artists alike. Students will read thinkers on creativity like Gaston Bachelard, Julia Cameron, and Natalie Goldberg and will be assigned weekly practices to reengage with their creativity, whimsy, and child-like splendor in creating.
