Sensory warning:
For those that are unfamiliar, VHS tapes can have some humming, buzzing, popping etc. so if you are sensitive to sound or have any sensory sensitivity please be aware!
BYO everything
Bring your own blanket, chair, brunch, snacks, drinks and get cozy! We’ll have folding chair seating in the back of the viewing room and welcome folks to sit on the floor towards the front of you wanna sprawl out picnic style.
Accessibility:
Movie screenings are in room 2R of The Arts League so you must climb a flight of stairs into the building and to get to the movie. Unfortunately closed captioning is not available due to the medium.
Vibe:
This is an immersive analog & lo-fi experience! Think, “AV club gone rogue and sneaking a movie after school“ and the main attraction is that we’ll all be watching movies together old school and have a good time doing it!
VHS club is curated by @theastralbotanica and presented by @artsleaguephl
