Class Description:
Getting words down on the page can be an intimidating, scary process. In this introductory course, students will learn about the creative process and develop their own artistic processes while providing and receiving supportive feedback in a workshop model. Great for beginners and those stuck in a rut, the class will focus on the reasons beyond formal technique as to why a writer might be paused at the page.

Tess Rauscher is a prose writer based out of West Philadelphia. Her work has been published in the national literary journal Bennington Review and elsewhere. Her writing is often interested in self-negotiation, time, and the suburbs of Washington, DC
