Meditation Through Coloring (Spring 2)
SPRING 2: APRIL 27 - JUNE 14
*Participants can register for individual dates*
SATURDAYS
5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13
Time: 10 AM - 12 PM
Class Description:
Meditation Through Coloring is a guided creative wellness class that combines mindful coloring, gentle breathing, and reflection to support relaxation and stress reduction. This is a calm, welcoming space where creativity is used as a tool for mental and emotional well-being—no art or meditation experience required.
This class is ideal for adults and seniors, first-timers to meditation or art-based wellness, and anyone seeking a gentle, accessible way to manage stress and slow down. It is especially welcoming for participants who may feel intimidated by traditional meditation or art classes.
Participants will learn simple mindfulness techniques, basic breathing practices, and how to use coloring as a creative coping tool. The class encourages emotional awareness, relaxation, and the development of personal self-care practices that can be used beyond the session.
Students will leave with a completed coloring piece, practical stress-reduction techniques, and reflection prompts they can continue using at home. Participants will also gain increased confidence in using creativity as part of their ongoing wellness routine.
Teacher Info:
Victoria L. Crenshaw is a Philadelphia-based creative wellness facilitator and the founder of Meditation Through Coloring. With training in life and art coaching, her creative practice blends mindful coloring, gentle meditation, and reflection to support stress reduction and emotional well-being. Drawing from lived experience and community engagement, her work creates accessible, calming spaces for adults and seniors. Victoria would like to partner with libraries, senior centers, and community organizations to offer creative wellness experiences that encourage self-care, connection, and healing.
