Stained Glass Basics covers each individual step of glass making, exploring the individual steps of patterning, scoring, breaking, grinding, foiling, soldering, attaching a hanger, and cleaning. All materials are included, like glass sheets, tools, chemicals, foil, and PPE gear. Students will leave with a finished stained glass piece of about 5” x 5”, as well as a unique workbook and resources for students to utilize should they be interested in continuing the art.
Cade O’Keeffe (he/they) is a multimedia stained glass artist and teacher. He specializes in freeform pattern-making, cut-outs, and incorporating lots of colors and textures in his pieces (bone, chains, beading, etc.). Cade has spent hundreds of hours practicing and teaching stained glass to artisans and beginners alike.
