The Arts League has been offering an array of visual and performing arts programs since its inception in 1967. We are proud to continue being a central hub of creative expression and learning for West Philadelphia communities. From printmaking to oil painting, pottery to papier-mâché, creative movement to creative writing, The Arts League has something for everyone.

While there are several returning intermediate students in our adult classes, they are designed to be welcoming for the beginner and intermediate student, unless otherwise noted. Our adult sessions are 6 weeks long unless they are a workshop, which will note the number of sessions and dates on the class page. All students get a 7th week of Open Studio times for free and all studios are available for use to finish up projects or just create!

Pottery students must buy clay and tools themselves. Other supply costs are a part of the total class cost.
